THIS NEW ONLINE MODULE is a combination of 38 hours of live virtual class, plus 12 hours of online recorded classes, a total of 50 hours of embodied learning.
Five Weekends Live Virtual Class / 38 Hours
Classes are presented live and are interactive. They are an active combination of presentation, somatization and movement exploration, principles of embodiment and application, with time for discussion and questions.
Classes are presented online via Zoom.
Each Live Class will be recorded and stored in your student account with lifetime access.
If you can’t make the live classes, you can follow the weekends on your own time schedule.

EMBODYING THE ORGANS AS KEYSTONES OF VITALITY IN THE PRACTICE OF YOGA
Our organs are part of our internal environment and inform our movement. The vitality of our organs is reflected in our external form. The organs are the contents, offering volume, fluidity, and three dimensionality. Through movement they countersupport and balance each other. When embodied they illuminate internal relationships and connectivity, from inner to outer expression, and support for the limbs and spine.
This module will explore how the organs express organic flow, and new pathways of connection and alignment within our practice. Classes are based on Body-Mind Centering® foundations, as a basis for experiencing ourselves in the practice of yoga.

Creating new pathways of alignment within asanas engaging the organs

Online Recorded Classes:
Ten 75-Minute Classes / 12 Hours
These classes are designed to support your continued integration of the Body-Mind Centering® & Yoga material presented each weekend. Classes are embodied explorations of yoga with application of principles to asana, breath, meditation, and philosophy. Classes are taught by course faculty, and uploaded to your student account following each weekend, with lifetime access.
Course Notebook
All participants receive a course notebook designed specifically for the School for Body-Mind Centering® Yoga Immersion Series. All documents are available by permission from Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and the School for Body-Mind Centering®. The notebook will be in a PDF format, and emailed to participants.
50 Hours of Continuing Education Credits with Yoga Alliance are available for this course.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR?
The principles and techniques learned in this course can be used for personal development and for professional enhancement. We recommended it for anyone interested in movement, dance, yoga, bodywork, somatic studies, education, meditation, and other body-mind disciplines.
No previous experience with Body-Mind Centering® or Yoga is necessary for this course.

Our faculty are professional practitioners and teachers of Body-Mind Centering® with decades of dedication and experience integrating Yoga & Body-Mind Centering®. They bring to their classes rich diverse backgrounds in the fields of yoga, therapy, somatics, movement, and meditation.
